The forecast was pretty strong with Kp index going upto 6 at times. I went out with my wife to the nearby lake to shoot some auroras. As we were about to leave i saw a post in a group of local aurora hunters asking if anyone would go out and share some fuel. I agreed instantly, dropped my wife home and went off with the group. It was a group of 6 people, with two cars. The auroras weren’t dancing so much but there was this constant band of green for more than two to three hours giving us enough time to compose our shots. The only regret is i didn’t bring my wife along.
