In Iceland, my luggage delayed, then arrived without batteries for my drone and gimbal. Undeterred, I relied on cameras in my hand luggage. On day three, disaster struck as my new mirrorless camera took a swim in the sea. Left with a Nikon displaying F90 and a malfunctioning autofocus, I embraced manual focus. The result? A few keepers from the trip. Lesson learned: next time, all batteries in hand luggage. Despite the challenges, I’m eager to return, better prepared to capture Iceland’s beauty.
